I am soooo very proud to be part of this production. Â The talent, the love, the joy! Â You would be remiss to miss this show!
This year’s 99¢ production takes the audience on a hero’s journey… that ends ingay marriage. All the costumes and sets are made out of 99¢ Only merchandise + recycled paper products from Green Print Alliance.
Bootleg Theater is excited to announce the brand new Ken Roht’s Same-O, A 99¢ Only Electric Ballad – once again bringing together the award-winning creative team of Roht, John Ballinger and Ann Closs-Farley for an outrageous holiday production.
The interdisciplinary extravaganza, with a cast of 18 diverse performers, opens on Saturday, December 4, 2010 with performances Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 8:00pm nightly with Sunday matinees only at 3:00pm.
Previous 99¢ Only shows have been critically acclaimed:
- “a mix of heady surrealism, marvelously inventive choreography, unabashed camp, and delightful whimsyâ€Â - Backstage West
- “bedazzlement of theater action and peanut gallery voyeurism†- Los Angele Times
Costumes, sets and moving sculptures in this progressive multimedia music event will once again incorporate traditional 99¢ Only Store fare, with the addition of recycled and sustainable materials this year.
The prolific Roht was the subject of both an LA Times story and Perez Hilton post recently (for another one of his projects). Check out a 4-minute video capsule of his zany work on YouTube.
The movie I did with Kevin Richardson has launched its website! Â Check out the trailer and many pictures of yours truly HERE!
Oh, hi!  Yeah, it’s still me.  I went blond for a really great part in a short film I am producing and staring in.  The script is by one of my favorite LA playwrights, Sharon Yablon.  We pulled out all the stops, raised money, turned in our  SAG paperwork and are two weeks away from shooting.  I have an incredible cast and crew and am really excited to see this baby come to life.  Here’s the log line for the short: “A precocious young girl and her injured brother travel to a sketchy motel to visit an old family friend who they haven’t seen in years. He’s hiding something, but so are they.”
I have also been working on my (as of now titled) “cowgirl project.” Â A webpage is in the works now, in the mean time check out the first two chapters here. Â And I have begun pre-production for another short that is totally top secret!
Am I having more fun? Â Yes! Â Yes I am!
Just got cast in a feature length Vampire Musical staring former Backstreet Boy, Kevin Richardson. Â
Yes, that’s right, I will be dancing, singing and getting ravaged by a Backstreet Boy!  The illustrious Ken Roht is writer/director and Kenneth Hughes is producing.  There is also an amazingly talented line up of cast and crew, I’m already having so much fun!   I am also reprising a role that was my first payed acting gig.  Yes, I am playing a Meth addict! But this time I am a hipster meth head in a USC pilot directed by a fellow Oxy Alum, David Lawrence.  Also, after conferring with my commercial agents I am getting some new headshots done so I will have those up in the next few weeks!!

Well, I have something to be thankful for:
I am proud to join the Osbrink family, with Angela Strange and Crista Augustynovich as my new commercial agents. The agency has an excellent reputation and works closely with their clients. Just what I wanted! Check out my updated contact info and Happy Thanksgiving!!
Wow, I am so excited to announce that the new season of Curb is airing on Sunday, September 20th. I am in the 5th episode, which airs Sunday, October 18th at 10pm Cali time. It was so fun to shoot, and I am all tingly thinking about it actually airing. More details to follow about a watching party!!
So, after having the most relaxing and painless headshot session with my friend and professional photographer, Sandra McCurdy, I am left with far too many choices for new headshots. Normally when you take 500 pictures, you get maybe one or two good ones..if your lucky! But of the 400+ we shot, I have narrowed it down to 25 pics, and from that, I must narrow it down to 4. It’s a fortunate perdicament, but hard non-the-less. Here are a few:
